Birth Journeys is a team of certified doulas and childbirth educators and massage therapist whose passion is to support families through pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period.
We are a proud member of the organization Evidence-Based Birth and aim to support families with fact-based information. We place the utmost value on choice and strive to support each family through whatever challenges and triumphs life may bring, in the way that feels the most suitable to them.
As childbirth educators, we do not discriminate on any basis and consider ourselves defenders of justice and equality. It is our goal to grow and learn with our community while offering all possible supports. In that effect, we commit to donate a portion of our earnings to Birth Justice on a monthly basis and also offer our online classes to the BIPOC population, free of charge.
Birth Journeys was founded in 2001 by Amy and Phillanne Armstrong and has lovingly grown in the hands of Genevieve Henry, Jenna Thayer, and Rachel Stanton since 2012. While Amy, Phillanne, and Jenna have moved on to other projects, their vision and heart live on in the work that we do.
